May i remind the members that this site and Forum is for people who are interested in the restoration/preservation of vintage/classic vehicles. Therefore the posts on the Forum should reflect this. If you are NOT interested in this subject, then please do NOT post unwanted or inappropriate messages on this site. A small number of members are misusing the Forum. Car Transportation

If anyone requires transportation for any vehicles to and from an event, please contact us as we provide transport options for many major car dealers in Northern Ireland, and would be interested in working with AOVC.

We also offer Covered Transport and Ultra Low Entry recovery, for vehicles with minimal ground clearance.

ECC RECOVERY is a 24 Breakdown & Accident Recovery Specialist based in Lisburn but travel all over Northern Ireland.

Requirements for an Age Related Registration

Can I just go over briefly what documents are required to obtain an Age Related Number for an old vehicle brought in to NI from the ROI or abroad. NOTE vehicles brought in to NI from GB are NOT entitled to a NI Age Related Number.

Free MOT in NI

Still waiting on a response regarding obtaining in NI FREE MOT for vehicles built pre 1960 to bring things into ine with GB. This exemption starts November 2012.
